Jayesslee Concert

My first concert in close to 2 years? Last i recalled I went to Singfest when Wonder Girls came, else it'd be in 2007, when Black Eye Peas rocked the Singapore Indoor.

Darran first introduced Jayesslee to us, the 2 sweet looking girls with awesome voice on youtube, straight away we're all in love, but, only for that few weeks. I was never a fan of covers, songs should only have 1 version, period. I knew their existence, but didn't follow for long.

Recently Steve came and asked if I'd wanna head down to their concert, I was like yes! Let's go RIGHT NOW ! Having miss the previous show at Esplanade, I was extremely gutted. Not an avid fanboy but knowing this  Youtube Sensation pair I had to listen to them, I was absurdly curious about their voice, LIVE...

Then, the bad news came, SOLD OUT, I was cursing and swearing all day all night, email and rang up SISTIC  if there MIGHT be additional sessions but they simply have no idea. I camp up at SISITIC site for tickets, roam the net for 2nd hand tickets and wanted to pay upwards $100 for 1... encore session came :) Lucky lucky.

The day finally came, I was all set to be mesmerized, show started at 2000hrs sharp, ticket states 1930hrs though. They brought their band along, which well, ruin their performance but thank god they ain't in it for the whole show. Yes I am being critical, I paid to listen to their voice and not just some punk rock guitar / drum / bass kids doing their thing. Ok, Kallang Theatre's stereo might not have fuze the "noise" with their voice at all, that said, Kallang Theatre really needs a new revamp of their sound system.

One of the best song, suited for them, Officially Missing You.

I must say they do not have the widest or broadest vocal range, but it's rather unique and suited for their "packaging"? It's 3am, I'm out of thoughts, I'm thinking about traveling to Malaysia for round 2 of Jayesslee though, just can't get enough.

The Pioneer LX55 Bluray Player Review

Pioneer Corporations, once the leading company for Home Theatre Systems, Display and Optical players, began to falter when the likes of Samsung, LG, Sharp etc came into picture with lower end products for the mass consumer. Pioneer, who steer clear form the niche market, producing high end products, fell to it's knees, withdrawing from the TVs market and started a joint venture with Sharp, resulted in absolute catastrophe. Pioneer fanboys nicknamed the products "Sharpioneer" A bold direction, right or wrong, there's too much points to take, although myself would 200% standby their decision to continue with making highend products previously, even though they failed eventually. Anyhow, ever since that catastrophic "Sharpioneer" released, tons of consumers ditched their players within days of purchases, the management finally woke the FUCK UP. Director Product Planning and Marketing Pioneer USA, Chris Walker started visiting multiple online forums, gat...
While caking, someone pop right into my head. Anyway, my top strength is: 1. Ideation: loves associating and providing ideas 2. Command: leadership, loves to put his ideas through 3. Futurist: star-trek 4. Individualisation: view individual base on strength weakness, not stereotyping 5. Learner: keen to learn In short, I'm a futuristic creative open commander! Sounds awesome eh? Strength Finder 2.0 is a book that only concentrate on strengths ($39.00) zero about weaknesses so all you hear are good stuff. ======= Individualisation Anyway back to my caking session. Mr Ibrahim, came to my mind. He was quite a good looking Indian back in my primary school days. I've always tried to protect him though I admit to join in bullying him once in a while. Sometimes he'd come to me "begging" to help him or lend him money with his hands in "praying mode". I took pity of him ever since he did that once and when he told me "All i got is 40cents a day and they sto...

pout lips

Been so long since I last blog, October 1st was my last, had to check my blog's post just to be sure. So how are things these days working out for you people? Just went through a topsy-turvy month. 2 colleagues left the bank, I'm blessed with 1.25 of their full 2 HC's work, excluding what I have on my plate, hmm? And they say I'll be compensated. Considering the pay I'm getting PLUS the load they are giving me, I'd expect a lot more of an increment from this yeah. Anything less than half a grand would be quite insulting, hence, I'm still waiting. School's crazy, started really listening during my Management Accounting lessons, it's pretty straightforward, a few problem sums combined into 1 question, that's how irritating it is. It's uninteresting, I'm uninterested like totally. At least I'm listening. Missed 3 straight sociology class, I'm screwed, lecturer refuse to reply to my S.O.S on email, pissed. Finance is back ...
