Went back to Malaysia for "Tomb - Sweeping", it's a period where most Chinese people all over the world travel back to their ancestors' deathbed, to pay respect. It was a disaster considering all the crap that is happening in office, the testing, to new system, the month-end cum quarter-end reporting, #KillingMeSoftly.
It was hot, humid, packed... basically just hot. Finished what we had to do and went back home for a nice home cook meal, the usual meat fiesta!
Grandma suddenly took out a bunch of photo she was so proud of, apparently she won 2nd prize at the Kluang Hainanese Chicken Rice Contest. Rightfully so, she's no novice when it comes to cooking, having been the head chef during her younger days, managing a bunch of people to cater for 10 course chinese dinner for 20+ tables.
On the way home, the causeway was jammed as usual, people were cutting in from the leftmost lane, made for Heavy Vehicles and Buses. As f up as these people might be, I was more angst with the people who allow this to happen, stand your ground and guard your position. I was this close to getting off the vehicle to give a piece of my mind to this wanker right in front, whom within minutes, let 3 cars cut straight in front of him. From the back seat I lunge forward to the steering wheel and was honking frantically at him, only then he woke up and did not let any vehicle cut in further.
Of course, we could've just cut into our rightmost lane, which was moving faster BUT this would give those fuckers who came blatantly to cut queue all rights to cut in, we stood our fucking ground all for the vehicles who were in the same lane, queuing patiently for their turns.
I'm a fucking righteous person, hence I'm in the police force, the 400 mcq sit test segregates individual into respective categories and then filters them into the respective 3 main defense system in Singapore; Singapore Arm Forces, Singapore Police Force & Singapore Civil Defense Force.
I will never do this again, ever. In order to keep those fuckers at bay, everyone, every single one has to do their part, you can basically observe how selfish and radical people become, leaving their position, joining the fuckers, all for themselves. This is how Singapore have become, Man for Himself.
When I was 22 years of age, I told my ma'am this, "Change, no matter how minor, is required, even if it is insignificant because, for Change to take effect, all these minor changes will play a part and one day, we will see that change!"

Till today, I've struggled to comprehend, what's right, what's wrong, what's white, black or grey, what's reality and what's in the textbook, what should be taught to my kids in future or what the future entails. What I know today is, I'll enjoy life to the fullest, live today like there's no tomorrow.
