Today we recieved the LG shine pamplet. It was so bloody preety, they were taken down by Peter ! our most reliable printer :D Sorry Fering I'll upload the pic asap ! Meanwhile you can ask Nichole how she feel about it :D
Aiya tmd, no pic damn hard to start... Nevermind I'll just post first and upload the pics tomorrow. Here's the new / next IN thing in printing. It is called SPOT UV ! The nice effects are done by laminating layers of different material to suit/fit different needs !
Had a meeting later with Vivian and Sue ~ another Printing company ! Vivian is a very experience printer and well our next mail thingy's design is done by Jimmy and Sue ! The Vault thingy ! Did i get the spelling correct? There will be a protrusion out from the "handle" as what you see on the real huge vault in banks or movies and when you turn it will really unlock the mail, thus allowing you to have a peep what "treasures" are there ! Whether anot this will be done hahah I won't tell you guys :D
Well i was very intrested @ how much the phamplet will cost and so Sue went to ask Vivian and woah she started rattering things I don't know, counting pages, using her ruler and a small magnifying glass ! haha as blur and impressed I was, she took the chance to explain to me like why 40pages is a waste of money because of wastage ~ an A0 sized paper can be cut into 46 A4 slices so if you only need 40 pages you waste 6 pieces of paper. Black itself is a dirty and dull colour ! While to make it look smooth and shiny, Blue colour is added! She showed me using the magnifying glass but I couldn't see the difference, need experience man ! But i can see the rest of the colours are formed by dots or pixels of 4 colours Megenta, Cyan and erm I DON't KNOW LIAO opps.
Different grade of paper... grammage ~ high grammage means better quality ! From useless paper to artwork paper, standard colours to special colours... material of paper . My eyes got bigger and bigger and bigger and woah ~ THIS IS AMAZING.
Later Serene brought me around, from Tekka to CCK to Lucky PLaza to do reckee-ing for the Green thingy :D hehe it was quite fun yoh !
I <3 my job so dman much.... since yesterday I've got quite a few things to do and stuffs and I hope i did them well, excel hehe no sweat but haha i just hope it is up to standard... a quite pathetic pay but experience and things I've learnt ... PRICELESS. Thanks to my boss who tell my collegues... " If he wants to learn and he can learn just teach him everything you can and bring him around to see " What more can I say about my boss ? I'm just a temp staff mind you . . . and I'm on an Engineering Diploma, I've got NS to serve and it's 2 years ! 2 YEARS yet she doesn't mind at all...
I'll try to learn as much as i can :D woah weee ~
Oh yea and my mum started to grumble @ me again " XXX got full points in Poly ... maybe GPA 4.0, NOW CAN GO ANY UNI ANY UNI YOU KNOW ? You say hah ! say what ? wanna let me be proud of you now see lar !" LOl bth, she was the one that say education is not everything still hahha hurt but well yeah i deserved it 99% and probably I'll just have to prove that studies ain't everything but haha it'll benifit me lar dohx
