dinner with the uncles!

Dad called, saying he'd leave the car with me b'cuz he's having dinner with his fellow ah pehs. Dying for spag, I thought they were dinning at Mad Bar so I bugged to tag on, only to realize they're gathered for steamboat !_!

There were total 11 of us including the boss of Mad Bar Alan and a few of my dad's old time friends. 1 long table, 3 steamboats and 5 bottles of Carlsberg was the menu. It ain't that kind of steamboat in case anyone was wondering, Fish Head Hot Pot is what they call it.

When I was young, i use to detest or rather stare at those bunch of ah pehs, drinking, laughing and talking so loudly, with their brazen language of course! Well guess what, I'm in between 10 of em now, laughing at their crazy jokes and ever crude use of vulgarities. Not a bad way to retire with my bunch of friends i guess?

Well, Eric, marcus, sue, jimmy, han honn, caron and nicole would be enough to make a very "yellowish racist" kaki~

Anyway, it was a totally new yet refreshing experience.

Been so long since I last blog, October 1st was my last, had to check my blog's post just to be sure. So how are things these days working out for you people? Just went through a topsy-turvy month. 2 colleagues left the bank, I'm blessed with 1.25 of their full 2 HC's work, excluding what I have on my plate, hmm? And they say I'll be compensated. Considering the pay I'm getting PLUS the load they are giving me, I'd expect a lot more of an increment from this yeah. Anything less than half a grand would be quite insulting, hence, I'm still waiting. School's crazy, started really listening during my Management Accounting lessons, it's pretty straightforward, a few problem sums combined into 1 question, that's how irritating it is.
