154, the only direct bus, from Singapore Institute of Management (SIM); my school, to my home.
Recently, almost everyone have been telling me the "advantages" of a bus ride. From having seats, to the nice long ride, to even the uncertainty of the time you arrive upon your destination.
Well because MRT rides are pretty fixed, the time you reach would differ at most 30secs to 1 min TOPS? Unless there's delay, so Mr Tang attempted to convince me the uncertainty that bus ride, be it due to drivers, traffic conditions and luck, sort of make him feel fresh all the while because of the different timings he will arrive at work. Pretty funny guy eh?
Yeah, I took up the advice and took a ride home. I took 30minutes more than usual, I save 27cents to be exact from taking a direct bus ride.
I wouldn't say I like/dislike it, it's more towards IF i've time to spare. I am currently not working this month thus I'm able to "splurge" on such luxury like plugging in my IEMs, streaming all my emo 2am songs to the hip and hot 2pm mp3s, totally ignoring time and what ever is happening around me, staring at blanks and just indulging in music plus wherever my mind takes me to.
Efficiency has always been my primary concern, getting from point A - B in the shortest possible time so that I can have time for more sleep or a nice piece of DVD and stuff. I thought I have not been caught up with our hectic lifestyle yet? I guess I'm wrong...
