2012 hasn't been as bad as what the horoscope predicted, work wasn't as steady or as smooth as I'd have liked but still moving forward. Hardest part was the death of my grandfather, still he left peacefully, without any pain.

Ended on the high with the trip to Hong Kong, absolute joy to go on solo trip, all the "mafan" people, habits etc are not around to hinder any crap. I left my memories with the kids though. I'd dedicate a separate post on the trip to Hong Kong, left my photos with the kids aha!

In short, finally met up with my crazy nuna, guess she's the only ONE person in the world that understands and know me the most, a whole lot more than my own mother for the other side of me. I've to say it wasn't as easy I'd thought we'd be, considering we've not met for a good 2years? and it's even longer with Lawrence. Took me awhile before I could really feel comfortable aha and then the endless fun, food, scenery...

Part our ways via Pizza and stick, no one probably knew how much that meant to me aha, I don't know but it's kinda my "dream" to part ways like that, a hearty meal of pasta with the flavourful olive oil and rich tomato paste lingering, the stick that so often kills us yet brings us together more...

=============

So what 2013 instills for me? Firstly, to get by May's paper with passes, and then onwards into my final year, it's been too long. Then there's Korea in July, which I've quite a tight timeline to save up for, not the cost of the trip itself, but the freaking loads of clothes, albums, food  I'll splurge on.

I'm also hoping to secure a more mid-long term contract with my current firm, or other alternatives. Glimpses of opportunities elsewhere but nothing is firm up yet. Banking has been jittery since 2008, with major corporations going through restructuring, nothing is "for sure" anymore. HP GBS AP, my previous department has been "restructured" to Bangalore and Dalian while the one job I was so thrilled to be in at StarHub was put on hold as the Head of Desk is being forced to leave. *roll eyes*

Jan 2013 started off brightly, a small new contract @Deutsche Bank, till March 2013. Revamped my room from:

Future seems bright, work's just work to me, it's a form of labour to obtain money in return for my efforts, which, in-turn allows me to survive (food shelter cloths) and splurge on the stuff I want. Education remains the toughest amongst the rest :))

So that's about it ~

Can't believe I actually took time to update and maintain our YEI Forum. Never knew I could be this crazy, but I know 1 thing for sure, it's never too late to start? But I'm really, growing too old for this. Ye Eun simply gorgeous! Credit: yeeun-impact.net / yeeun.wordpress.com And I blew up during dinner...
While caking, someone pop right into my head. Anyway, my top strength is: 1. Ideation: loves associating and providing ideas 2. Command: leadership, loves to put his ideas through 3. Futurist: star-trek 4. Individualisation: view individual base on strength weakness, not stereotyping 5. Learner: keen to learn In short, I'm a futuristic creative open commander! Sounds awesome eh? Strength Finder 2.0 is a book that only concentrate on strengths ($39.00) zero about weaknesses so all you hear are good stuff. ======= Individualisation Anyway back to my caking session. Mr Ibrahim, came to my mind. He was quite a good looking Indian back in my primary school days. I've always tried to protect him though I admit to join in bullying him once in a while. Sometimes he'd come to me "begging" to help him or lend him money with his hands in "praying mode". I took pity of him ever since he did that once and when he told me "All i got is 40cents a day and they sto

The Pioneer LX55 Bluray Player Review

Pioneer Corporations, once the leading company for Home Theatre Systems, Display and Optical players, began to falter when the likes of Samsung, LG, Sharp etc came into picture with lower end products for the mass consumer. Pioneer, who steer clear form the niche market, producing high end products, fell to it's knees, withdrawing from the TVs market and started a joint venture with Sharp, resulted in absolute catastrophe. Pioneer fanboys nicknamed the products "Sharpioneer" A bold direction, right or wrong, there's too much points to take, although myself would 200% standby their decision to continue with making highend products previously, even though they failed eventually. Anyhow, ever since that catastrophic "Sharpioneer" released, tons of consumers ditched their players within days of purchases, the management finally woke the FUCK UP. Director Product Planning and Marketing Pioneer USA, Chris Walker started visiting multiple online forums, gat
