Awaiting death . . .

My grandparents have always told me if I don't date now, they will never be there at my wedding, both grandmothers in fact. I've always laughed it off, for my paternal grandma, she already has 3 great-grandchildren, my maternal grandma has one, so nothing spectacular would come out even if I got married. Although it's been on my mind that maybe I need to fulfill their wishes before they pass, the least I could do, then I know, I just can't risk it, it's till death do us apart once we pen our names on the line. #NoKidding Once, my uncle told my uncle to cut down on high cholesterol and salty food because of her HBP, she merely replied in hokkien,"I'm only waiting for death, can't I eat what I want". That was just too much for me ... It's kinda true, she wakes up, go for a stroll, watch tv which she barely understands, she can't read both mandarin and english, the kids barely visit her, some times no one visits over the weekend......

~20 Projekt Toronto 18~

Just tracked my points in 3 years time, was worried cuz I'd have hit 30s then, barely made it with 72pts, need 67.  http://www.workpermit.com/canada/individual/skilled.htm http://www.canadianbusiness.com/lists-and-rankings/best-jobs/2015-top-100-jobs-in-canada/ Also managed to dug up a great site that showcase what jobs and the median salary they are offering with links to details and even job sites. So I went through the details and job sites for the JD and man, I'm lacking so much. I guess Trace was right, it'd be better for me to come over to study and then get an apprenticeship but I can't LOL. The 1st time I regret not studying was when I had useless bosses above me making nonsensical decisions, the only time i regret not saving money was when I wanted to buy a place of my own. This is the 1st time I regret not traveling when I was younger, wasn't far sighted enough to go into IT. I still remember i told my dad in his face, "This is IT, Win...

i forgot what I wanted to write

writing or in this case, blogging... is quite g a huge deal for me. I blog when I've the mood to write, the contents are usually spontaneous yet I'm picky. It has to be worthy of my time and effort spent, writing. Life has many units of measurement. Networth Height and Weight Age Class Hons But... "Time is the only true unit of measure, it gives proof to the existence of matter, without time, we don’t exist" - Lucy I'm movie geek, i re-watch movies over and over and over again because I'm inspired, touched, intrigued time and time again, before I go off point, Time, is the only commodity that we can never extend, though no one truly knows what's the absolute amount of time we have, at birth. We are all born with a fixed amount of time, we go through life and reduce it exponentially thru bad diet, lazy habits or worst, high class suicide - smoking. So why do we, or rather I do still do it? Happiness. I could never understand ...

sneak-preview

Hopefully after 10 years, I'll live in a house like that, clear blue skies, lovely colors, fresh air everyday. Anyways, I've applied for an interim review to work in Canada, seems to have pass that review and what I need next would be $$ to start up. Did my math Rent: 700 Utilities: 100 Petrol: 400 Groceries: 500 Other expenses: 500 With a 15% income tax rate working backwards, I need a gross of  $2,588.24 or $14.77/hr on a 8hr and 22 workdays / month average. Of course I'll need a ride and I can choose to get 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Automatic $7,500 2009 Subaru Imprezza WRX manual $8,500 Or be contented with 2004 Honda Civic Automatic $2,500 2003 Toyota Camry Automatic $5,000 So all in all, assume I'll pay $7k for the car including taxes and  insurance, 2 months' deposit on rental with 6mths expenses without a job would cost  me $18.6k ~ $20k which is about SGD22k. Including flights, fees for permit etc. S$30k would be the best amount to mo...

Longest flight of my life... so far.

On 20th October 2015, I left work promptly at 1800hrs, went home and prepare for the flight of my life. It was no joke. Trip 1: SG -> KOR Incheon 6hrs 20mins. Even though I checked in like 2hrs prior, I still couldn't get aisle seat, instead was smack in-between 2 grown man. I had to NOT sleep for this trip so that I can adjust to Canada's 12hrs time difference, it was ... I'm glad it was over after 3 movies which I barely completed, nodding off here and there. Took 1.5hrs nap at Incheon like the pic above before the longest flight of my life begins. Trip 2: KOR -> Toronto Pearson Int' 13hrs 5mins. Aisle seats FTW !!! but my luck ran out as an ahjumma was next to me, though the middle seat was suppose to be empty and we are suppose to SHARE, mid-flight she was basically horizontal and tucked in happily and kick me time to time while I was suppose to sleep =\ . Still i managed to doze in and out of lalaland then. Finally the total ridiculous flight ti...
