Before getting into what “lack of cohesion” means, it’s probably worth covering the idea of cohesion.
The act or state of cohering, uniting, or sticking together.
In the simplest terms, things are cohesive when they stick together and stay together. That applies to the wide world, as well as to software. When you describe your group at work as cohesive, people will understand you to say that they work well together and get along.

Recently Singapore began banning E-scooter on footpaths effectively TODAY.

So what am I blabbering about again. The use of e-sccoter aka PMD (Personal Mobile Device) had it's issues in recent years. There were multiple injuries and misuse by users which not only cause harm to themselves but others.
How?
- Speeding, PMDs are capable to go up to speed of 70-80km/h with modifications. Meaning they can be faster than cars and bikes on roads
- Injuries, like cars and bikes, users need to be properly trained before they can control such devices safely
- Lost of property, like all electronic devices, the Samsung Galaxy Note grenade issues, when no proper QC, illegal modifications and sourcing from illegal channels often lead to devices blowing up while charging, over charging or even on the go.
So what the fuck am I going on about when the ban is absolutely to the delight of "majority" of the citizens?
Honest, down to earth living:
The "rise" of the PMD allows countless Singaporeans to earn a decent and honest living. As food and other delivery items are on the rise, many youths are taking up these jobs to supplement their families, themselves or to fund their own goals or dreams. 20% of the population owns 70% of the wealth in Singapore, taking away their avenue of income without allowing alternative is unfair and merely a populist political movement which the ruling government is flirting with the nation on the upcoming election next year.
Severity of Issue:
The problem with the accidents / incidents occurred should be partly put on the authorities for their lack of vision, oversight and framework to manage and regulate the PMDs. The government should have put in place regulations to
1. Request sellers to obtain proper permit to ensure only permitted devices are sold, they should also ensure buyers register their personal particulars and intent so that they can be tracked.
2. Limit youths from purchasing the devices, if these devices are capable of traveling at a certain speed, how different are they from cars and bikes. This ain't rocket science.
Lack of apathy in this society
The rich, will drive cars, the poor relies on such devices, hence it's only the rich and influential that are barking around going mad. Many of those who praised the immediate ban are those who lack the apathy to even try to understand why are people using such vehicles in the first place. I used to be told that we need to go to school to get knowledge, knowledge = power and the ones who have more power should help the ones who are in need.
However I've came to a realization that power does not equate to wisdom, instead narcissistic demanding and self entitled pricks. Evident in Korea and it's infecting Singapore. That's the zombie T virus...
Another reason for the rise in usage of the PMD was when the government deciding to increase the COE (Certificate of Entitlement) for Bikes by 400%, therefore seeking alternative means of tools led them to PMD, which also meant that the GOVERNMENT made this catastrophe.
It disgust me that our society's lack of social cohesion towards those in need is literally killing me every fucking day. And every other fucking day I realized those next to me are being infected or are long infected with the T virus....
I do not think that living a reclusive life is ideal for anyone... seems more and more likely each day... Doesn't look that bad aye?
