2nd... if not the most important document I've ever endorse upon.

A man's home is his castle - Sir Edward Coke (pronounced Cook), in The Institutes of the Laws of England, 1628. Well the idea of a loft never really occur to me until Ms Tracy Ma pasted a photo of a massive unit that vaguely resembles the below, her question was "Do you like this house". Immediately i fell in love with the idea of having a bedroom on top, with the massive high ceiling, well she simply said "Nope, I hate huge houses, it felt empty". #wtf Since then I had a dream, a dream of owning my own studio apartment. 3 years on, while randomly crawling on the internet, I found this ! I registered my interest with an intent to find out how new home viewings are done and how condominiums are like these days but they were sold out, instead the agent introduce me to a location no one could resist, a freehold condo smack near Bukit Timah at Hillview Well, nothing seems to tick anything I like except the above, a top floor penthouse with my...

what if

What if you know of a very close friend who intends to murder someone and the only way you could stop him is to get him arrested. Not that his intentions were wrong but it's simply against the law, his marriage, his wife, his life is almost gone. What if getting him arrested, you saved him from the death penalty, you saved someone's else's life whom they will never thank you for and they are innocent by law and that your friend will be suffering worst then dying, rotting behind bars. What if?     What if you have a friend who is recovering from depression and needs your time because he doesn't have much friends, what if i gave him an hour a week and then 2 hrs a week and then 4 hours a week ... What if  he decides to kill himself, what if? Met a guy who doesn't live with his mother, from our conversation my guess is that he became rebelious because his mother doesn't think he is good enough. Since when honest living isn't good enough, do we all h...

Growing up

The best Anime of my time, Rurouni Kenshin, also known as Samurai-X. Swordsmanship animations were uniquely classy, depicting the troubled times in Meiji history. The story line was simply out of this world, with the invasion of Kyoto the climax of the whole animation for me. Today I had the privilege of inviting the douchebag that introduced this animation to me, Mr Chong Yong Qi. We never really started off on the right foot, he was a typical boy school "ang moh" punk and I'm your neighbourhood "ching cheong" ah beng. Somehow I do not recall why and how we got this close,  for reals. Anyways, while waiting for Mr Chong, i was wondering around Marina Square mall, to my surprise, there was a huge cosplay event going on at the main atrium. You could see all the amazing make-ups, hair-dye, props and costume worn, absolutely out of this world. I'm glad the community is going strong, "Otakus" or "Geeks" are not taken very well locally, ...
#nuffsaid Work has been crazy, but I've not giving into the crazy hours on "off-peak". It's really a chore managing people up there who are filled with their own personal agendas. Done with corporate ladder, at least for now, just gonna sit tight and enjoy the ride. Recently had a chat with the Dean who was trying to kick me out of school, reason being I'm taking too long with my degree. The truth is, she's merely trying to get me out so that she can get premium paying foreign students in, I'm merely wasting space. #GreedIsGood Been investing in LEGOs but I guess our time is up, Amazon stop shipment of LEGOs to Singapore, there goes my plan Taiwan trip planning is almost done, my Diploma fees are fully paid, 100% debt free, for now. I need to be cash rich but so much plans ahead ahaha! Priority would be Toronto but the flights are crazy, 26hrs... makes me dizzy. Tokyo is next, I need to reach the nerd-promise-land Akibahara ...

Another 2 years #WeGoAgain

The Barclays Premier League, often term the EPL/BPL, previously known as the English Premier League has come to a close. Liverpool came in first! runner up, ie. 2nd. Gutted? I was, truly, we were so close and we lost it. Henderson's straight red meant Manager Rogers would field his pet Allen who often does nothing, isn't technically gifted nor have flair like Coutinho nor is he as solid and tenacious like Henderson. That was the reason why we lost to Chelsea, we ain't fluid enough, and how we drew Palace when we should be hitting 10 goals past them. Final game vs Newcastle, we were 0 - 1 down at HT at HOME,  you could see that we are moving the ball around yes? Aimlessly too. Upon Allen's departure with Coutinho's introduction, we became a totally different team, needless to say we got the game back 2 - 1. It was a magical season considering we were 7th only last season. #FormIsTemporaryClassIsPermenent , we will come back stronger. Got to love being ...

Now the battle begins

I am reaching the crossroads once more, the decision I hate to make. Life, and money. I've hit the ceiling cap of the CPF amount (20% of S$4500.00), which meant that Tax on my income will start to eat into majority of my earnings. I am working 13.2hours a day on average, I sleep 15 hours away from my Saturday and that's what life will be, for the next 6 months minimum. Of course I can chose to quit, but that's the only relief I can give my mother, that little sense of pride she can have that even though I do not posses a toilet paper, even though I am no longer that top 5% kid in school, she still can feel satisfied with me and my life. Decisions decisions... Man up? really? Finally got my Girl's Day Calendar, 1/3 of the year has gone, refuse to pay S$20 for shipping !!! No wonder Feb's been real nice, because So Jin was there ~  Yura's amazing considering how much she've changed  Favourite September, maybe I'll see light then ~ ...

Went back to Malaysia for "Tomb - Sweeping", it's a period where most Chinese people all over the world travel back to their ancestors' deathbed, to pay respect. It was a disaster considering all the crap that is happening in office, the testing, to new system, the month-end cum quarter-end reporting, #KillingMeSoftly. It was hot, humid, packed... basically just hot. Finished what we had to do and went back home for a nice home cook meal, the usual meat fiesta! Grandma suddenly took out a bunch of photo she was so proud of, apparently she won 2nd prize at the Kluang Hainanese Chicken Rice Contest. Rightfully so, she's no novice when it comes to cooking, having been the head chef during her younger days, managing a bunch of people to cater for 10 course chinese dinner for 20+ tables. On the way home, the causeway was jammed as usual, people were cutting in from the leftmost lane, made for Heavy Vehicles and Buses. As f up as these people might be, I was mor...
