endless journey of the audio nirvana

Love blogging, then I'll remember stuff. Bought the ZuneHD on April 2013, it's almost 3 years since, considering it being a used set and lasting for this long, what a work horse. However, it's dying :((( I bought a Sony ZX-1 on my birthday early this year for a staggering SGD500.00 and made a loss of SGD100 less than 6months later. It was truly the worst player I've ever had, sound quality's decent, not great for that half a grand spent, needless to say it's useless UI (User Interface) and over complex color-ed enhancements. Glad I sold it, good riddance, the dood who bought it from me sold it the next week he got it. I was looking around for a new player only to find out every tom dick and harry are basing the players on the Android OS, this also meant WIFI receivers which to me = necessary noise and additional strain on the player for unnecessary stuff. They also incorporate the raving freaking useless, epic harsh on the highs Sabre DACs. #WTF ...

#boysbeboys

Boys don't grow up, we just age, therefore. Ladies and gentleman, please look at this amazing video. #OMFG #JUSTTAKEMYMONEY #PS4 #FF7remake I can't imagine how the bundle would be like, I'll pay at any price and I meant any price! HEHEHEHE !!! Of so many games, this is one of the few turn based games that I actually finished. There was such a huge hype in school when FF8 came out with Squal and Rinoa that everyone was crazy over it. My birthday gift was a FF8 guidebook but honestly, I'm only keen on the previous. The finishing move was way cooler, hardware wasn't as intensive or demanding for my ridiculously old pc. The main reason was the realism of this game.Aries the female lead died, there was  no other way to save her, Cloud was a self centered prick and far from the heroes we've seen. Damn i can't wait to play this all over again !!!!

1st world country

I forgot what I wanted to blog on Sunday, blah !! Anyways I went for a CSR session today, also known as Corporate Social Responsibility. It's a huge deal for big Corporate in Singapore as they try to repay back to society yet in the nutshell, it's just branded. Food from the Heart is the Charity organization DB is associated with and earlier this year, there was another event collecting food with the tag line "Who can survive on the diet of hope" Fairly eye-catching and meaningful so I decided to sign up. We were tasked to pack and deliver food stuff to the less fortunate who are living in 1 BR apartment. One can never realize how bad living conditions can be, pee stench floating around the void deck, stall air without ventilation on the narrow walk way. As we knocked we managed to meet some of the elderly and then, 2 kids opened up their doors.... A girl barely 10 and a boy younger came to meet us. Oh... my god.. I couldn't believe how kids can live...
