Just got home at 11:30pm, it's Tuesday, tomorrow's Wednesday and I have to work. My job demands me to be 100% focus, I'm a high paying data entry clerk, my responsibilities include timely and accurate entries of datas for regulatory/internal audit purpose. Recently I've found out I've sleep apnea, in simple terms; sleep disorder. Usually caused by blockage of air-passage way, hence my quality of sleep is often low. Hence, I need to be in bed by 10pm, and I still feel sleepy at work. Sleep apnea aisde, the gist about this entry is - Friends. Friend: a favoured companion Companion: one that keeps company with another =========================== I am definitely not the best friend to have, I'll admit to that, I'm there but not there too, that's what most of my friends would say. It's quite sad to hear actually, I know it's normal to have expectations of friends, I do have them for most of my closer friends, else I can't be bothered.

Just passed the halfway mark of my employment contract period. Some of you might remember the posting I had on moving to Deutsche Bank. Well here I am, 3months into my 6months tenure. So far life's been a roller coaster, too much ups and downs, my heart is weak for such excitement. Anyway, DB (Deutsche Bank) has given me an opportunity to peep into life as a "banker". Everyone used to say Banks are where the lifestyle of the rich & famous begins. It was true a good decade ago before Bear Sterns and Lethman started to bust this bubble. Back to the main purpose of this post, I'm barely surviving here, I don't really enjoy working with my team, my old team which includes just the 3 of us were way better. Everyday during dinner, my dad would be the last on the dinning table, claiming he's tired, not hungry or for whichever reason he'd just wait for most of us to get started before digging in. He'd even wait for me to be home if there's just both of us for dinner. So even at the dinning table, he'd simply pinch on the dishes I'd less favour, the fact that I have no specific preference over dishes, except well, MEAT (Am a 101% carnivore). At my age, 25, a quarter century old, which makes him a good 55? He's still doing it. He loves us and that's the only few ways he knows how to show his love for us. I appreciate it and I understand where he's coming from but he has got to stop and start appreciating life, life as a father with 2 grown up children, accepting that the has the right to be pampered by his children and it is his right to be treated this way. The mom has seen light and has done the right thing in "exploiting" the kids haha.
